Stunning images of the heavens and beyond don’t need to be all NASA’s. The D810A is Nikon’s first ultra high-definition FX-format digital SLR model designed exclusively for full-scale astrophotography. While images of nebulae and galaxies often appear pale when captured with regular cameras, the D810A allows four times greater transmission of H-alpha light, giving you a clear reproduction of their vivid reds. Offering a pixel count of 36.3-million, it’s also equipped with a new long-exposure manual mode and a viewfinder display that considers nighttime photography, allowing you to frame your images without taking your eye off the subject.
